New Year’s Raw-solution

To set yourself (and your pet) up for success, here are some tips to help you keep your New Year’s Raw-solution: 

• Start small – Adding just 20% of fresh food in your pet’s kibble can improve their hydration and provide beneficial nutrients such as high-quality amino acids, fatty acids, probiotics and antioxidants. Bone broth, kefir, pet-safe vegetables and fruit, GreenTripe’s Organ Meat Blend and Albright’s Ground Salmon are all excellent options to supplement with.
• Switch it up – No one likes to eat the same thing over and over and over again. And that includes your pet! Feel free to rotate ingredients as much as your pet can tolerate.
• Supplement on your schedule – Whether it’s daily, every other day, or less, you can choose what works for you and your lifestyle. Just be sure to add a high-moisture ingredient (like plain, filtered water) to your pet’s dry food to increase fluid intake and decrease the dehydrating effects of kibble.
